First, we will cover the latest news of PM Kisan Yojana then we will discuss Pmkisan.gov.in which is the only official website of the Yojana. According to the new report, If any farmer did not link the Aadhaar Number in the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, then they will not receive Rs 6000 from Govt.
The last date to link Aadhar with Pm Kisan Yojana is 30-11-2019. While for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam and Meghalaya’s farmers the last date is 31-03-2020.
Pmkisan.gov.in is the only official portal of Pm Kisan Yojana. However, at the beginning pmkisan.nic.in was the official site. But due to some technical issues pmkisan.nic.in has been redirected to the pmkisan.nic.in. This portal is created to provide details of PM Kisan Yojana & receive online farmer registration, Give beneficiary application status and many more.
After online registration farmers can check their application status on pmkisan.gov.in by giving their application number, Aadhar card number OR registration number.
How To Check Beneficiary Status?
- First of all, You have to visit pmkisan.gov.in.
- Above all, Under Famers corners beneficiary status link is available.
- Click on the link, Afterwards enter your Aadhar number & click on the “Get Date” button.
- Now your application status will visible on your device’s screen.
- You can print out your status form future communication with the Yojana authority.
New Farmer Registration
Pm Kisan Yojana also offers an online registration option on Pmkisan.gov.in. Hence if you can’t do online application then you can visit your nearest Common Service Center(CSC) for Pm Kisan Registration.
For new registration farmers need Aadhar card number. On the pmkisan.gov.in you have to fill a self-Declaration form. All steps on how to fill forms shared below.
- You have to first visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana.
- In the left side of the page, New farmer registration link is mention.
- Hit on the link, then enter your Aadhar number together with visible captcha code.
- Now the form will appear, Enter all asked details, for example, your father & mother name.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, there are 14.5 crore farmer families are eligible for Pm Kisan Yojana. Till now 8 crores farmers families have got the money. While Out of 8 cr. farmers only 3.78 crores got the third instalment. Rest farmers can check their name in the list by visiting pmkisan.gov.in.

What are the benefits of the PM Kisan Scheme?
Under the scheme, Indian Farmer families with total cultivable holding up to 2 hectares shall be provided with a benefit of Rs. 6000 per annum per family payable in three equal instalments, every four months. The scheme takes effect from 1 December 2018. The first instalment to eligible beneficiaries during this financial year 2018-19 shall be for the period from 01 December 2018 to 31 March 2019.

There is no distinction between urban and rural cultivable land and under the scheme. Both are covered under the scheme, provided that land situated in urban areas is under actual cultivation.
How many times the benefit will be given in a year?
The benefit will be provided in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000/- each for every 4 months period into the bank account of all eligible beneficiaries. For 2018-19, the beneficiary shall be provided one instalment w.e.f. 1 December 2018.
